COURSE: 21-191 First Year Language in Location 1 (3)
Introduction to the study and practice of a selected foreign language in a country where the target language is the primary language.  Emphasis is on oral proficiency, and on-site learning ensures numerous opportunities to practice the language.  This course is part of a Study Abroad experience. Prerequisite: Not open to students with a background in the target language. Prior approvals of both the Coordinator of the Foreign Language Program and the Director of the Study Abroad Program are required.
