Undergraduate Course Catalog 2010-2011
STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM
INTERNATIONAL STUDY ABROAD
Lewis University, in association with the Lasallian International Programs Consortium, offers a range of study abroad opportunities and locations for all majors. Students may study abroad for a semester or a summer, or participate in short-term Travel Study programs while taking courses applicable to their major, minor, General Education, foreign language enhancement, or electives. Fluency in a language is not required. Fees and costs for semester and summer programs are reasonably close to those of Lewis University tuition, room, and board. Financial aid may be applied in most cases. Basic eligibility requirements include a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (2.75 for Travel Study programs) and sophomore, junior, or first-semester senior status at the time of participation. Interested students should begin preparing for this opportunity early in their college program. Most applications are due at the beginning of the semester before the program begins.
