COURSE: 47-355 Motor Freight Administration (3)
The motor carrier industry played an important role in the development of the U.S. economy during the 20th century.  Students will study the structure of the market, the nature of competition within this transportation mode, the types of terminals utilized, and carrier rate negotiations.  Students will study  management functions in terminal operations as well as staff functions such as fleet management. Prerequisite: 47-201, 47-250, 13-120, 46-201.
