COURSE: 02-338 Medical Terminology (1)
Study of root words, prefixes, and suffixes of the medical vocabulary, including singular and plural endings, abbreviations, and applicable symbols. Emphasis is on application of terminology through the use of chapter objectives, learning exercises, and critical thinking exercises. As an independent study, students may choose to progress more rapidly than the assignment schedule outlines. This is a Pass/Fail class. Prerequisite: Admission to the NMH DMS or RT program, consent of the instructor.
