SPORT MANAGEMENT/BACHELOR OF ARTS

Major Credit Hours: 59
Sport Management majors are required to complete all core courses and 18 hours of electives. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 to remain in good academic standing in the major. Program advisors will inform students of their GPA at each semester's advising appointment. A letter will be sent to students who drop below the minimum GPA for two semesters advising them that they have been dropped from the major. Students dropped from the Sport Management major may petition one time to be readmitted to the program. For graduation, students must earn a "C" or better in all Sport Management courses.
Students must have current 1st Aid and CPR to enroll in 16-480. See other pertinent policies below.

III. The advanced writing requirement of the General Education Requirement is fulfilled by the successful completion of 16-410, Research Methods in Sport Science.
IV. Students must complete an application and be accepted into 16-480, Sport Management Internship. Students need to see their academic advisor or the Sport Management Program Director for the course application and its related deadlines.
