COURSE: 53-322 Characteristics and the Development of the Adolescent Learner (3)
This course is intended to provide teacher candidates knowledge of educational psychology with particular emphasis on the adolescent development. The course will explore physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of the adolescent learner. This course also covers the role of the middle grade teacher in assessment, coordination and referral of students to health and social services. Prerequisite: 2.75 GPA; Consent of Education Advisor.
