COURSE: 18-365 Feminist Political Thought (3)
This course examines the development of feminist political theory beginning with the suffragist movement to the late twentieth century contributions of liberal, radical, socialist and post-modern feminists. Not only has feminist political theory expanded our understanding of human relationships and behavior, it has analyzed different aspects of women’s oppression and has offered various means of liberation. This course will compare and contrast the different feminist perspectives and the impacts they have had on contemporary politics.
