COURSE: 53-360 History and Philosophy of Education (3)
This course introduces students to past and contemporary issues and theories of education. It includes an historical perspective of the educational systems and traditions and a review of current issues in education. Students are given the opportunity to construct and discuss their personal philosophy of education. Prerequisite: 2.75 GPA; Consent of Education Advisor; 05-240; 54-242 or 53-312.
