COURSE: 54-346 Literacy and Learning (3)
This course explores literacy theory, methods, materials and assessments. Students focus on research based practices as they apply to the literacy instruction of general education students, as well as students who require modifications or accommodations to the general curriculum. Current issues in providing literacy instruction for students with special needs are explored through literature from professional educational organizations. Prerequisite: 2.75 GPA; Consent of Education Advisor; 54-206; 54-242.
