Lewis students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills due to our liberal arts foundation of core classes. You will be challenged to stretch your mind, question your understanding, and apply theoretical knowledge to everyday issues in the workplace and in your community. The College of Arts and Sciences is the oldest college on campus with a diverse range of majors including biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, aviation, criminal/social justice, forensic criminal investigation, communications, psychology, athletic training, and the fine arts.
Internships and practical experiences are encouraged for all of our majors. It is the direct application of what you learn that makes the Lasallian approach both practical and cutting-edge. You will have opportunities to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom through service learning, clinical experiences, research projects, and team competition.
Small class sizes mean faculty get to know you and your career goals, ensuring that you will have mentoring and guidance from the first day of class to graduation. Lewis professors are approachable, responsive, and supportive, and students have access to numerous academic support services, making Lewis an ideal place to earn your degree.
