The University has successfully received Title VI and Title III grants in recent years. The science departments are using an Associated Colleges of Illinois (ACI) ACI/SMLC grant to promote gender equity in STEM academic areas. The link for ACI is http://www.acifund.org/.

The Lewis University Colonel Stephen S. and Lyla Doherty Center for Aviation and Health Research has supported faculty/student projects in the Biology, Computer Science and Psychology departments.

The LU Graduate Conference highlights original findings of graduate students in The College’s Leadership, Counseling, School Counseling, Information Security and Justice programs.

Associated Colleges of the Chicagoland Area, in existence since the early 1960’s, is composed of 14 colleges and universities, and is directed at providing advanced scientific opportunities for undergraduates and sharing pedagogical research among faculty of the member institutions. The College is hosting ACCA meetings through 2010.
