Lewis University’s Organizational Leadership Certificates provide the education for you to advance or transition into a leadership role by helping you understand foundational leadership theories, as well as leadership itself, as a psycho-social phenomenon. Certificate programs contain in-depth instruction for the best possible education, with classes conducted in accelerated 8-week formats in both online and face-to-face evening formats. The certificate programs can potentially be earned within one year.

Organizational Leadership

  • Designed for those looking to hold positions in organizational development, human resources and coaching
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business coaching theory, methodology and techniques
  • Learn the most up-to-date research-based coaching strategies and best practices, as well as the theories behind them
  • Develop the ability to coach both on the phone and face to face
  • Learn to establish a practice inside an organization or as an independent consultant
  • Create coaching programs for your work teams
  • Curriculum is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and will help prepare you for the ICF’s credentialing exam. Faculty are certified by the ICF. Lewis students hold a 100% pass rate on the ICF Exam

Turn your certificate into a master’s degree
Lewis’ Organizational Leadership Certificate programs are transferable toward the Master of Arts degree program in Organizational Leadership. The credits you earn can be applied directly at a later date. All you have to do is take the remaining required courses in the degree program.
